This is a blog intended to bring our family and friends closer by giving them an opportunity to participate in a web discussion. I am new to blogging, so I don't know where this is going to take us, but hey, it's the 21st Century. Peace

What do you do with a clean bill of health?

You gladly pay it...
Mary just completed some PET scans and in reviewing them with Dr. Robin she was told that the first sentence of the report says it all. "No indications of any activity anywhere." Actually that's a paraphrase. Penny took Mary to her appointment. Again, my appreciation for Penny's assistance and for her friendship is great. So, this great news is great news and we are feeling particularly blessed right now.

Daisy's been sick. But she's better now. $245.00 better.

I've started work on the contest play. We're doing Requiem for a Heavyweight by Rod Serling. I went to Lowe's last night around seven-thirty and the place was a ghost town. It was a sad sight, but it was fun to be able to have the whole store to myself. I am sort of looking forward to the process. I am afraid I am already counting the days or at least looking forward to...something else.

We've been summoned to visit Nora at Augustana. We were told that we are the only parents who have not come to visit and to see their house. Mary's certainly well enough and we have parent teacher conferences on Friday that end at eleven a.m. so we can leave early. No doubt dinner and extensive trips to Jewel and Target for groceries and household items is on the agenda. I'm sure it will be fun. The only reason we hadn't been to see her thus far is because she was in Europe until November and then she was at school for only a few weeks before she came home for Christmas and we all needed time to recover from the holidays. As my Mom would have said, "It's time".

OK, that's it for now. Thanks for the prayers and positive thoughts...they work.
Peace to you and to those you love.
Rob

I'd do a cartwheel, if i could. I'll admit it, coordination has never been my forte!

Congratulations, Mary on the positive results.
