This is a blog intended to bring our family and friends closer by giving them an opportunity to participate in a web discussion. I am new to blogging, so I don't know where this is going to take us, but hey, it's the 21st Century. Peace

WBC moving up

Great news from Rush. Mary's white blood cell count is starting to rise. Considering that just a few days ago she had no count, movement in the positive direction is cause for a little celebration. Karen, Mary's Nurse Practitioner who actually did the transplant told Drs. Venu and FunGuy that she wants more patients like Mary. Despite some stomach and intestinal issues, she's looking good and feeling very positive. She's even started bossing me on 'Homecoming" tasks.
Not much else to report.
Keep the positive thoughts and prayers coming.
Rob

YAY! that is wonderful news. My prayer is gratitude for all the little things, as well as the biggies like growing white blood cells. Continuing to hold all of you for highest good healing.
    love, Nancy

    Hello Mary and Rob,

I am so glad to hear about Mary's news. I am praying for you all during this time. How is everything else going? How is school Rob? It is a mess down here. Lets say I am not getting a raise for the next 3 years because we are on a tight budget crunch. I will have to explain this story to you when I see you again. How is Nora? How is college life treating her? Is this her 2nd year? Wow can't believe how old we are getting. I mean turning 28 today makes me realize how old I am..... oops did I just make you all feel old. Dad already got on me about complaining about being old since he is turning 60 soon. I can't believe he is that old. Well Take care and hope to see you soon.
