This is a blog intended to bring our family and friends closer by giving them an opportunity to participate in a web discussion. I am new to blogging, so I don't know where this is going to take us, but hey, it's the 21st Century. Peace

Blog, Blog, Blog

Ok, we're going to California and I'd like to post a few things before we go, but I don't have time to really write. So, here are the issues, cool and otherwise in our lives and maybe I'll be able to extrapolate later.
• I got to see the Clapton Guitar Festival on Saturday. It was amazing...12 hours of amazing.
• I read the last Harry Potter. It was a right fine ending to the series.
• I have a rabbit living under my porch and it is eating everything green in my front yard. I ordered fox urine crystals to repel it. I also bought fire crackers in Indiana today to dis- encourage its residence.
• Nora completed her summer work of teaching swimming.
• Mary is feeling a little loopy, but she's due to improve out west.
• We are all looking forward to four days in Mendocino. It's an old fishing village which has been taken over by hippie merchants and restaurateurs. We've been taking the kids there since they were three.
• I am not happy with my new Ping irons. Can you hear EBay calling?
• Daisy is going to spend a week with Penny and Bern and Sadie, the border collie. OOOBoy!
• Negotiations are beginning to show some promise.
• When we return, summer will be over for me and Mary officially begins her retirement.
• Only one more chemo treatment left.
• Nora's getting her tonsils out on August 21.
• Nora goes back to Augustana Labor Day weekend.

Well, that's about it. Keep in touch. Pray for peace.

Rob

PetSmart was founded in 1986 and opened its first dog bed Warehouse stores in the Phoenix area. Through several mergers and acquisitions, PetSmart expanded in the early- and late-1990s across the U.S. and into Canada, and entered dog bed online retailing through a partnership with Idealab in 1999.
In antique 2000, PetSmart remodeled most of its store in a plan they called "Eagle" which changed many of its stores from a front-half dog bed storefront, back-half warehouse feel to an all-over standard retail market, in hopes of not intimidating customers.
In August 2005, the company announced that it was rebranding its name from PETsMART to PetSmart. This move is designed to feature its evolution from a pet supply store to a solutions-oriented company.
As of November 2007, PetSmart operated take 1,000 stores and about 150 locations with PetsHotels and Doggie Day Camps. Some PetSmarts are dog bed co-located with Banfield Pet Hospital veterinary offices.
